Meet Mrs. Ganssle "Mrs. G"
This will begin my 17th year of teaching in the classroom! Where did the time go? I have taught in several districts throughout the valley, I even spent two years teaching in the United Arab Emirates in Abu Dhabi! Ward has been my "home" for the past seven years, and I am proud to call myself a Warrior. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a Master's in English as a Second Language.
When I am not at school, I love baking (and watching baking shows) and can often be found volunteering at the Arizona Animal Welfare League, spending time with all of the pups looking for their fur-ever homes. My husband of 28 years (!) and I love to travel, hike, and ride bikes together, but at home, we spend time with our fur-babies: Monkey-Pants, Skittles, Jellybean and Wookiee in addition to our not-so-furry desert tortoise, Fang. Our human child is fully grown and working in computer programming here in the Valley of the Sun.
I am always adapting and finding new ways to engage all of our learners. The last couple of years taught me more ways to incorporate technology into all lessons as well as more differentiated lessons that will help all fourth-graders reach their goals. If you ever have questions, comments or concerns, the best way to reach me is through Class Dojo. Please be sure to visit our "Class Dojo" page here to sign up!
